Participants are welcome to book accommodation at any hotel of their choice; there is no requirement to stay at the recommended hotels. Participants may reach the campus by taxi, airport transfer services, or public transportation from either airport. We recommend allowing additional travel time during peak traffic hours.

July is typically warm and sunny in Istanbul, with average daytime temperatures ranging from 28–33°C (82–91°F) and evening temperatures between 20–24°C (68–75°F). Rainfall is generally limited, making it an ideal time to explore the city.
We recommend packing lightweight summer clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. As conference venues and public transportation are air-conditioned, bringing a light jacket or cardigan is advisable for added comfort.
